GRTC's Headquarters utilizes ‘green building’ or LEED® concepts that provide an environmentally healthy and safe operation for the surrounding neighborhood and offer opportunities to reduce and control operational costs.

When visiting GRTC's Headquarters and Corporate Office, please be advised of the following security measures. GRTC has access control systems in place to help protect staff, equipment and property at GRTC from unauthorized visitors on the property.

  • All visitors must check in at the GRTC front desk and wear a visitor's badge. Please use the front door intercom system to communicate with the staff monitoring front door access. Identify yourself and your purpose for accessing the property.  
  • Visitors arriving by automobile must also check in at the entrance security gate to enter the property. Please follow gate signage and speed bumps, and slow your automobile to a stop. When you reach the gate, please press the intercom button to communicate with the staff monitoring gate access. Identify yourself and your purpose for accessing the property. For the safety and security of everyone, all individuals accessing the facility are logged in an electronic access system with a date/time stamp.
    • Please use caution when approaching and passing through the security gate. The gate is programmed to only allow one vehicle at a time to pass through. Please wait for the vehicle in front of you to proceed through the gate and the stop sign before you move through the gate.
    • When exiting the property, the exit gate will activate automatically when it senses a vehicle approaching. Please approach and exit with care. Only one vehicle at a time is allowed through the exit gate.
