All GRTC vehicles are fully wheelchair accessible and include top-of-the-line features to expand the freedom of transit to everyone.
Buses can kneel and deploy ramps for ADA-compliant boarding – and operators of fixed route and paratransit vehicles are trained to assist with wheelchairs, strollers, and other devices. Priority seating for senior citizens and riders with disabilities is available at the front of every GRTC fixed route bus.
For the visually impaired, all buses are equipped with speakers that announce upcoming stops and other key announcements.
