GRTC is introducing Your New GRTC Transit System. The new transit system is designed to provide enhanced service for GRTC riders, taking advantage of the new GRTC Pulse (Bus Rapid Transit) - a 7.6 mile partial dedicated lane, high frequency service from Willow Lawn to Rocketts Landing. The new route design changes some of the transit pathways currently in use by GRTC. This requires bus stops to be added in certain areas, as well as requires some bus stops to be removed (where routes will no longer travel). The projected implementation is Fall 2017.
GRTC is seeking public comment on the recommended placement of added bus stops. A full list of stops recommended to be added and stops that will be removed can be accessed on our website: http://www.ridegrtc.com/statistics-reports/projects-plans/your-new-grtc-transit-system.
