GRTC has recovered fake public timetables from its buses displaying service to Mechanicsville in Henrico County and Oakwood in the City of Richmond. Please be advised that routes 5A, 5B, 5C, 5D, and 5E do not exist and there is no extended local service planned along Mechanicsville Turnpike in Henrico County at this time. GRTC only operates Route 5 (Cary/Main/Whitcomb).

The counterfeit timetables display routes 5A-B (Carytown/Mechanicsville/Creighton Rd.), 5D (Whitcomb/Fairmount/Oakwood), and 5E (Mechanicsville/Hanover Square/Lee Davis Rd.) and include information about a Route 5C on the maps. The effective date is listed as September 11, 2022, highlighted in an orange box on the front. 

Riders and community members are asked to discard the inaccurate timetables immediately if found in the service area. If you see these schedules while riding GRTC, please return them to your bus operator.
