GRTC continues to take action during COVID-19 for the safety of our staff and customers. In the interest of public health, we are:

Wearing face masks – you may also see Operators wearing face shields.

Disinfecting often – high-touch surfaces are disinfected in-between trips and shifts with disinfectant spray and/or wipes, and all vehicles are thoroughly disinfected and cleaned nightly.

Promoting social distance – we remain Zero Fare so that passengers and Operators can keep apart without interactions at the farebox. Operators also have new driver’s shield doors installed to provide an extra layer of protection between Operators and passengers.

There are important actions you can take when riding with us to keep yourself and others safe:

Feel sick? Don’t ride!

Wear your mask – if you need a mask, ask your Operator for assistance.

Use hand sanitizer – dispensers are on all vehicles. On a bus, the dispenser is by the rear door. On a CARE van, the dispenser is near the rear on the driver’s side. Please disinfect your hands when you board and exit.

Space apart when possible – it may not always be possible on our busiest routes, but try to leave the seat next to you empty when riding. And keep your mask on!

Take your trash with you – help us keep the vehicles clean during the day.
