  • 9th St. Detours (planned until September 2021) affect Routes 2A/B/C (Northbound), 5 (Eastbound), 64x, and 82x.

Annual Spring A/C Blitz: GRTC’s federally-licensed mechanics are currently inspecting every bus’s air-conditioning system so you stay cool this Summer. Buses may experience a wider range of ambient conditions during this blitz. Please dress in layers to adjust to your comfort. Remember, we are still leaving a couple bus windows open to increase ventilation during the pandemic. Thank you for your patience.

ConnectRVA 2045: The Richmond Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RRTPO) asks for your input in helping them develop a long-range transportation plan, ConnectRVA 2045. Please take a moment to tell them what you think and help them better understand how to spend transportation funds: https://metroquestsurvey.com/yk5h5p. This survey deals specifically with funding decisions and they need your help in defining how money should be allocated.

More Opportunities to Plan: GRTC is currently working on a draft Regional Public Transportation Plan. Although expansion will likely not be implemented within the next year, we want to start gathering rider feedback on a list of identified routes to prioritize in a future expansion of service regionally. You can preview those routes beginning on slide 7 of this draft presentation, and share your input by emailing planningcomment@ridegrtc.com.
